The career counselling cell(CCC) in Nayagarh Prajamandal Mahila Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 2015. The Cell always motivated the girl students to have a good career in future,so that they would have an identity in the society.For this,the teachers used to give suitable ideas about different job-oriented courses,how to develop their skills,how to face interviews and how to choose a career for their betterment .
In the changing Scenario counselling cell plays a vital role in educational institution.Education stands for an overall development of a student and thus a career counselling cell,a facilitator.
The Higher Education Department ,Odisha has directed the colleges to set up CCC in the year 2018.Hence our college strenghened our CCC more by career counselling programmes with resource persons and experts from renowned institutions .
Aims and Objectives:
*To help the students in the proper choice of career in a highly complex and rapidly changing world of work .
*To identify and motivate the students from weaker sections of society .
*To make the students discover their area of strengths and weaknesses with regard to their present course and let
them know what career they would be suited for.
*To motivate the students to identify their inner strength which will enable them for their all round /holistic development .
* To give the students the required confidence to change their domain,with the support of an experienced mentor.
* To guide the students towards their 'best-fit' courses/careers and help them to get a correct career assesment.
The career counselling cell organised several programmes in the academic year 2019-20. They are as follows:
1. Role of Education in Choosing A Career
2.Programme on "Role of Information Technology" & "Impact of Yoga" with experts from KIIT. on 29.02.2020.
