 The following scholarships are available to the students who study in Nayagarh Prajamandal Mahila Mahavidyalay. Students desirous of availing themselves of these scholarships must apply in the prescribed form available in the scholarship section through the Registrar to the concerned authorities.

1.      NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

    National scholarships are awarded to poor and meritorious students for their post-matric studies by the Government National Scholarship of India through the Directorate of Higher Education, Orissa under the following categories

Under Graduate Boarders @ Rs. 120/- P.M..

Under Graduate Day Scholars @ Rs.90/- P.M. Senior Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship

This is awarded by the Directorate of Higher Education, Orissa @ 50/- per month on the, basis of the results of +2 Examination for 3 years to students taking their undergraduate studies, They should have secured a minimum of 50% of marks at the +2 (C.H.S.E.) Examination and their parents income should be below Rs. 4,000/- per annum.

Students whose parent's annual income is less than Rs. 6,000/- annually will only be eligible. Selection will be made on the basis of their performance in +2 (C.H.S.E.) and Degree Examinations.

2.POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP(For SC/ST Students)

This scholarship is awarded by the T.R.W. Department, Govt. of Orissa through the Sub-Collectors of respective Sub-Divisions only to S.C. and S.T. students of degree classes as per the following rates.

    i)         +3 First Year Class (Boarders)           Rs. 150/-P.M

              +3 First Year Class (Day Scholars   Rs. 90/-P.M..           

  ii)          +3 Second Year Class (Boarders)  Rs. 230/-P.M

           +3 Second Year Class (Day Scholars)                 Rs. 120/-P.M

  iii)     +3 Third Year Class (Boarders)        Rs. 230/-P.M

              +3 Third Year Class (Day Scholars)               Rs. 120/-P.M

3. Senior Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship

This is awarded by the Directorate of Higher Education, Orissa @ 50/- per month on the, basis of the results of +2 Examination for 3 years to students taking their undergraduate studies, They should have secured a minimum of 50% of marks at the +2 (C.H.S.E.) Examination and their parents income should be below Rs. 4,000/- per annum.

4.Sanskrit Merit Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by the Govt. of India to the students through the Director, Higher education, Orissa who have taken admission in the +3 1st year Degree Classes. The student must have taken Sanskrit as an elective subject and the amount of scholarship per month is Rs.60/-. The entire process of application and selection has to be completed within six weeks of a

5.Scholarship To The Disables

This scholarship is provided to the orthopaedically / physically handicapped students by the Social Welfare Department of the State Government through the District Social Welfare Officer (D.S.W.O) of each district to the students of Degree and Post-Graduate Classes. The nature of disability should be more than 40 % and such certificate should have been issued by the Chief District Medical Officer. The candidate should have secured 50% marks in the last College/Council/ University Examination. He should not be in receipt of any other scholarship, should have 75% of attendance. He should not be enjoying free boarding and lodging anywhere.dmission.

6.Sports Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded by the Govt. of India through the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Orissa to Degree and Post-Graduate students who have represented the state at the All India level competitions and should have accomplished a commendable track record. The student should have been regular in attendance. The scholarship is tenable for a maximum period of 3 years and a student who is in employment will not get this facility. The student should not be an inmate of the sports Hostel of the Sports Authority of India. The amount of scholarship is Rs. 450/- per month and the student should not be more than 19 years of age while applying for the scholarship initially.

 e-Medhabruti is an ideal scholarship scheme of Government of Odisha.In order to encourage and motivate brilliant students of Odisha prosecuting higher studies in the field of General, Technical and Professional education, the Government of Odisha is awarding different scholarship every year through Higher Education Department on merit-cum-means basis.

8.Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan SENAPATI Schlorship
   Government of Odisha,Higher Education Department, constitued a Scholarship named after Vyasakabi  FakiraMohan Senapati.The Scheme implemented as follows:
1.Students securing  more than 90 % in Odia in +2 (Higher Secondary)  conducted by CHSE (O) will get Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Senapati  Schlorship,provided  they continue their study  at graduation level with Odia as Honours/Major         subject.
2.The Schlorship is also available for the student passing +3 Arts  with Odia as Honours by securing  more than 90% marks in Degree Examination conducted by any of the  State Univerisities or any Autunomous Colleges of Odisha.
3. This is aone-time schlorship Of Rs 20,000/-.
9. PRERANA Scholarship : 
PRERANA Scholarship is the Post Matric Scholarship Registration Release and Network Automation scheme. It has introduced by the SSD and Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Odisha. The government of Odisha initiated this scholarship to provide financial support to poor and meritorious students of the state every year. Students belonging to ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC categories can avail of this scholarship. This scholarship enables them to pursue Post Matriculation courses and complete their studies. PRERANA Scholarship Rewards

PRERANA Scholarship provides the 100% course fee for general courses. Whereas the scholarship amount of Rs. 28,500/- will be provided for the technical like degree or diploma courses. This also provides an extra amount of monthly maintenance. Refer to the table below to know the group-wise distribution of the scholarship amount.
